Mental health is very important at all stages of life from childhood to adulthood. Mental health is all about how people behave or handle their emotions? And how their relationship is with the people around them?

Be present with your child: With the busy schedule of the modern-day parents, it is advised that you should put your work and worries aside to get involved with your child on a one-to-one basis.
Listen to your child: It is really important that you should listen to them, in between, you should ask questions so that kids understand that you are listening to them and are really concerned.
Be silly at times: When you will be doing a few silly things it will help your kids to tell their stories which will help them to express their feeling and emotions in the most healthy way.

Teach them self-care: You should tell them the importance of healthy eating and exercise. Tell them that they will become what they eat if they will eat healthy food their body and mind will be healthy and if they will eat food which is not healthy, how they can expect their body to be healthy? So, it’s important to help them understand the importance of good and bad food and help them to understand that food matters.
In the end, I would like to close by saying, if you are healthy it will be easy for your kids to follow you because kids learn by following their parents. So, on this world health day, start holistic living by keeping yourself away from distractions and follow a healthy routine for yourself as well.
